As you pick up “The Tyranny of the Urgent” you may be wondering, “What is this for?” or even, “Is this worth my time?”  All are great questions who’s answers may seem to be a little out of reach, at least for now.  This document represents the first of many great things the Lord has planned for our beloved church- a cog connected to a bigger wheel, if you will.  We would like you to do 3 things with this article:

1. Read – Take time to consider Charles E. Hummel’s words.
2. Reflect – This is a time to seek God’s subtle voice in prayer.  Ask Him to use these words as a measuring stick for your life. 
3. Remark – This is where we would love to discuss your impressions on what you read.  We will be gathering together on February 2, 2010 in the Q & A room at 7:00 p.m. to discuss our opinions, thoughts & how we could apply Mr. Hummel’s article to our lives.

This is not for everyone.  If this article doesn’t speak to an aspect of your life, by all means, don’t feel obligated to register.  But if these words move you as it did for some of us, then please register.  If you join us in the 3 R’s (Read, Reflect & Remark) you’ll soon take part in the secret
“R.”  REAP!!!  There are rewards that our Lord has reserved for our sacrifice.  Come Join Us.
